A bag of Goodies for Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn was so excited yesterday!!! She got her first ever scrapbook swap stash. Who would have thought an envelope bursting with odds and ends for scrapping would create such joy and excitement??? Over at Hybrid Forum (http://hdscrapbooking.com.au/forum/index.php) one of the ladies, Maria, organized a stash swap for our kids so well all sent some goodies to Maria then she reparceled them up and sent them out to all the kids who had gone in the swap. Judging by the replies in the forum yesterday everyone had gotten them all on the same day so I daresay there are lots of happy kids at the moment.

Now to my garden it is about 2/3's done and looking really good!!

Moe has done a fantastic job so far. We planted some new water wise plants yesterday !

Lets not blow the garden up

Ok so I'm now not going to blow the garden up...still considering the 'blow the husband up' option though...lol. Seriously though I have found me a Garden Angel by the name of Moe (short for Maureen). Moe LOVES to garden and weed but as she lives in a unit she no longer has a garden to play in so the deal is she is going to sort my garden and lawn out for me and then come once a fortnight to maintain it all. the only thing she doesn't do is mow lawns as she hates it but thats fine by me I LIKE mowing to me it's theraputic like playing with play dough. So now everyone is happy. Once the garden is finished I'll post some photos here...



Still on the homefront we are getting ready for Kaitlyns first school camp! She is so excited. However I have had to draw the line at her taking every pair of shoes and every item of clothing she owns to camp!! Oh she is only staying away for 3 days.....so of course we are busy labelling everything and sorting things out...she doesn't go for another week but we have to do it NOW Mum!!!



Scrapping wise I have been a bit busy making Chrissy presents for friends and family. I would love to post photos here but most of them follow my blog so it probably isn't a good idea. Husbands and Gardens someone should blow them up!!!

.....really they should just be blown up!!! I don't do this 'gardening' thing! I hate it! Fortunately I have a husband who enjoys gardening....unfortunately he won't be able to do the garden for a while due to the nature of his job!!! Which leaves ME to do the blasted thing. I really do have much better things to do with my time like doing some more scrapbook layouts!!! I would rather have my wisdom teeth (if I had any left) removed via my nasal pasages without any anesthetic than garden...it is soooo boring...and I tend to kill things no green thumbs here.....

So on Sunday I made a start on the front garden beds which were slightly kinda sorta lots overgrown with weeds and am now paying for it. I found muscles that I never knew even existed! Of course Kaitlyn helped me but the front garden still needs more attention ie more weeding and mulching. So I hit upon the bright idea of actually paying someone to weed my front garden for me......not a snowballs chance in hell of getting anyone for the next two weeks maybe longer!!!! So looks like I'm gunna have to venture forth again into the front garden again....OWW muscle twinge.....

Well big things are happening at Kaitlyns school this week. The new classrooms have been put in so at the start of next year the kids will have brand new shiny classrooms.

I went down this morning and took photos to send to Kerry and of course Kaitlyn is telling me "I'm going to scrap them Mum" like the 50 million other photos she wants to scrap....sounds like me I have so many photos to scrap but not enough hours in the day to do it all....

Change of title

Morning one and all...I decided AFTER I logged off my computer last night that "the BIG blog of ME!!!" just wasn't what I wanted for a title for my blog. So I now have a new one "Marees' Manic Musings" of course like many things in life this is subject to change!!! The fact that I am also female gives me the perogative to change it whenever I want to....

I did it all by myself...look Mum no hands!

Mmmmm I am thinking that this blogging thingy might just end up being a wee bit addictive...I have just quite happily wasted and hour 'playing around' seeing how things work...I reall should go to bed....maybe I could just play for a minute or two more....nope be strong ....I'll go to bed. Maybe I could get up a little earlier before Kaitlyn wakes up and play some more???

Who,what, where and WHY????

Everyone tells me a blog is the way to go these days and I really really should have one...so here it is...I have one.....now all I have to do is figure out what to do with it....I suppose I really should go and find some stuff to put in here and then think about more stuff to write about....
