Perhaps I should think about organizing some clothes and "stuff". You know the "stuff" you take when you go away.......in a suitcase.....mmmmm......better get the suitcase out.....and the lock for the case........better write myself a list of "stuff" to do......not to be confused with "stuff" to take...........well maybe I'll just do my usual trick and pack a few hours before I have to leave for the airport......

PROJECT LOVE NOTE

 

So tonight I finally finished Project Love Note....which is 48 envelopes in total. You see Little Miss K and I are flying off to Hobart in Tasmania in a couple of days to meet up and spend a few days with Fred. We are now about 1/2 way through this deployment, it's a long one about 4 months, so I thought that I would give Fred some love notes to open when we leave Hobart. He can open only one a day but each one is different. Some have not only a note from me but from Little Miss K as well. Some have a note and a photo. Some are covered in bling. Some of the notes are very loving telling him how much I love and miss him. Some are downright raunchy and not suitable for publishing here *BLUSH*.

I hope that each day when he opens his love note it just makes each day a little brighter and he realizes how much we do miss him (except for the snoring and odiferous man smells).

Ok so doing well....only 3 days since my last post....ooooh I'm good......so ANYWAYS on with todays missive.

Today I am going to dedicate todays ramblings to my AWESOME friend with Ranga Powers...yes the one ....the only... Toni from ChickChat!!! You see not only do I know Toni from the world wide web where we first met but by pure chance we happened to meet when Little Miss K, Fred and myself stopped in a little cafe, in the town where Toni lives, for lunch while we were on holiday. In fact Toni didnt recognize me it was Little Miss K she recognized first!!! You see Toni has literally watched Little Miss K grow up through my scrap booking layouts..... anways we all ended up at Toni's that night and a few glasses of wine and a lot of laughs  it was as though we had known each other forever.

But I digress.....you see apart from sharing a passion for scrapping,  preparing for the Zombie Apocalypse (I'm bringing the chocolate) and Pinterest we also share a passion for the same man....yup you heard right  the SAME man!! No not Tonis' Fabio or my Fred but for Number Ten. You know Number Ten?? How can you not know Number Ten??? Oh hang on if you arent a fan you would know him better as THIS man:

Mmmmm David Tennant...Dr Who Number Ten....Christopher Ecclestone (Number 9) and Matt Smith (Number 11) are also both good as the Dr...but it is David Tennant who does it for Toni and I.....and ya know I am happy to share because David Tennant is TV's equivalent to something dipped in chocolate!!!

However not only is this guy GREAT as Number Ten he is an all round actor and if you do a search on him on Google you will be AMAZED as shows that you may have seen him in...he has even been in Harry Potter...yes Harry Potter!! He played Barty Crouch Jr in the fourth movie.

So not only is my mate Toni an all round good person who inspires me endlessly with her words of wisdom and her she must be an OK person cos she loves Number Ten....

PS ....and I'm proud to count her among my friends.....

Back....yet again....

Yup back...AGAIN...I know I know I am such a SPECTACULARLY horrible poster when it comes to my blog......HUGELY not regular.....it has been over 12 months since I last posted anything. It's not that I don't have anything to write about its just (insert whiney voice here) that by the time I have checked everyones birthdays, looked at photos, planted, watered and harvested my crops and animals, sheared some chickens and plucked some sheep, fired colored balls at other colored balls, guessed some song titles and generally trolled my day is just about done and I just forget to get in here!!! Oh I should also say I also manage to do school runs, washing, cleaning, grocery shopping, running Little Miss K to her 8 dance classes a week (yes 8!! She says she doesnt play sport because she doesn't like to exercise) and tend to the occassional things that need to be done for Fred (like ummmm.....well just stuff).

You know some days I think to myself "Gee I really must write something on my blog" and then I get distr....ooooh look colored balls to fire at other colored balls,,,,oh sorry ummm yeah sometimes, well lots of times I think I have this great topic to write about and then just forget to come here. Not a great excuse but it's mine and the only one I have.  I really admire those who do post regularly and my friend Toni (who you can find here http://chickchat-toni.blogspot.com.au ) always inspires me with some of her thoughtful posts and makes me feel guitly that I dont write more. The funny thing is I enjoy the writing so I have decided I AM going to TRY and make more of an effort to get in here and share my thoughts with you Dear Reader even if some of what I write can be pretty mundane.

 I have started a....wait for it....A LIST!!!! Yup I have pen and paper to hand near my computer so when an idea comes into my head I will write it all down and then impart my words of wisdom with you.....will it work....I dont know but as long as the pen stays nailed to my desk we should be good....for a while...well heres hoping
